The Moroccan National Olympic Committee (CNOM) has selected Moroccan athletes Najwa Awane, wheelchair tennis player, and blind football player Hicham Lamlas to carry the Moroccan flag at the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games on Wednesday evening.
The opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games is scheduled to commence at 7 p.m. on the Champs-Élysées and la Concorde Place in Paris.
The Moroccan national delegation will be the 99th to enter the ceremony, entering in alphabetical order.
The ceremony will be broadcast live on Arryadia, the third channel of the SNRT group.
Morocco will participate with a delegation of 38 athletes, 24 men, and 14 women, competing in various disciplines such as athletics for motor and visual impairments, wheelchair tennis, para powerlifting, para taekwondo, para road cycling, and goalball.
