UAE football club Al Ain FC has announced the extension of Moroccan striker Soufiane Rahimi’s contract until 2028, according to Emirati media reports.
Rahimi has been a standout performer, both in the AFC Champions League and at the Paris 2024 Olympics, where he played a key role in Morocco’s bronze medal win.
The contract renewal was signed in the presence of Mohammed Al Mahmoud, a member of Al Ain Football Club’s Board of Directors, amid growing interest from several Arab clubs.
Rahimi’s impact on Al Ain has been remarkable. As the team’s leading scorer, he netted 13 goals in the last season of the AFC Champions League, helping secure the championship title.
His performance in the Paris 2024 Men’s Olympic Football Tournament was equally impressive, where he won the top scorer award after netting eight goals, leading all scorers in the competition.
