The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced the match officials selected to officiate Morocco’s upcoming matches in the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2025, according to sports media outlet Le 360.
The Atlas Lions will play against Gabon on September 6 and Lesotho on September 9 at Agadir’s Grand Stadium. The matches are scheduled to commence at 7 p.m. (GMT+1) and form part of Morocco’s national team preparations for the continent’s largest tournament.
Mauritania’s Dahane Beida has been appointed as referee for the upcoming match against Gabon. The assistant referees will be Jerson Emiliano Dos Santos of Angola and Liban Abdoulrazack Ahmed of Djibouti. Moussa Diou of Mauritania will be acting as the fourth referee.
In the game against Lesotho, Ivorian Clement Franklin Kpan was selected as the main referee, with Koabenan Prosper Adiouman and Eba Médard Wenceslas Ettien appointed as assistant referees. Patrick Tanguy Jean Philippe Vlei will hold the post of the fourth arbiter.
The AFCON 2025 is scheduled for December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026, in Morocco.
