A heatwave is expected on Wednesday in Morocco’s southeast and East of the southern provinces, and moderately warm conditions in the Tadla, Rhamna, and interior Souss plains, according to the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM).
Minimum temperatures are also forecast to range from 23 to 28 in the Saiss, northern Oriental, western Atlas regions, Souss, Southeast, and the interior of Saharan provinces. Minimum temperatures are predicted to be between 17 and 23 are also expected in other regions.
Patchy mist is anticipated along the northern and central coasts. The sea is anticipated to be calm to slightly rough in the Mediterranean and the Strait. With slightly rough to rough conditions along the Atlantic coast, and occasionally rough to very rough between Cap Hadid and Cap Ghir.
Rain showers and thunderstorms are expected in the High and Middle Atlas regions, the eastern Rif, the southern Oriental region, and the southern provinces.
Strong gusts of wind may affect the central coast, northern southern provinces, Southeast, and southern Oriental regions.
