38 athletes will represent Morocco at the 17th Paralympic Games, taking place in Paris from August 28 to September 8.
The Moroccan athletes will participate in para-athletics, wheelchair tennis, para powerlifting, para taekwondo, para road cycling, and goalball.
Moroccan athletes competing in para-athletics with motor impairments include Ayoub Sadni, Abdallah Kani, Azzeddine Nouiri, Zakari Darham, Zakaria Zouhri, Aymane Al Haddaoui, Yousra Karim, Hayat El Garaa, Saida Amoudi, Fouzia Lakssioui, Amina Oubraim, and Nour Al Houda Al Kaoui.
Those competing in para-athletics with visual impairments are Amine Chentouf, Moncef Bouja, Abdessalam Hili, Fatima Zahra al Idrissi, and Meryem Nouri.
For para powerlifting, Najate El Garra and Ouafae Al Azzab will represent Morocco in the -61 kg and -45 kg weight classes, respectively.
In wheelchair tennis, Moroccan athletes Najwa Awane, Samira Benichi, Lhaj Boukartacha, and Said Himam will compete in both singles and doubles events.
The para taekwondo team includes Rajae Akermache, Rachid Ismaili Alaoui, Ayoub Adouich, and Naoual Al Arif.
Haytam Amraoui will represent Morocco in para-road cycling.
The Moroccan goalball team consists of Abderazzak Hattab, Zouhir Snisla, Ayoub Hadimi, Houssam Ghili, Aït Baja Lahbib, Saïd Al Maslak, Hicham Lamlas, Mohammed Al Hamouchi, Samir Bara, and Khalid Kirmadi.
