A bombing in Tel Aviv on Sunday resulted in the death of the suspect carrying the explosive and injured a passerby, according to Israel’s domestic security agency.
Hamas’ armed wing, Al-Qassam Brigades, along with the Palestinian Islamic Jihad’s armed wing, Al-Quds Brigades, claimed responsibility for the attack in a joint statement on their Telegram account on Monday, CNN reported.
The groups vowed in a joint statement to continue their “martyrdom operations” within Israel as long as the Israeli offensive in Gaza persists.
