A collision between two cars on Saturday caused seven deaths with one still in critical condition, the incident occurred on the road between Hed Soualem and Berrechid in central Morocco, according to local media.
Authorities rushed to the scene, however, five of the victims died at the scene of the crash, while two others died from their injuries at a Casablanca hospital on Sunday.
The accident is believed to have been caused by speeding.
The bodies were transported to the morgue for autopsy. An investigation is currently underway at the prosecutor’s office to determine the circumstances of the incident.
