After the success of the Barça Academy in Rabat, FC Barcelona has launched a new Barça Academy in Casablanca, Morocco, the club announced on Monday.
“After the success of the Barça Academy in Rabat, the Club continues their strategic project to expand the game of football in Morocco by opening a second site in the country,” the club said on its official site. “The excellent performance of the site in Rabat has led Barça’s partners in the North African country to launch a second Barça Academy.”
Scheduled to open its doors in September, the Barça Academy Casablanca will welcome approximately 500 young players.
Participants will be immersed in the club’s renowned training methods based on a creative, attacking style, and the promotion of values such as respect, modesty, effort, ambition, and teamwork.
This Casablanca academy marks the 28th addition to the Barça Academy global network.
FC Barcelona’s network includes the Barça Escola in Barcelona, the Barça Academy Pro sites in Miami and New York, and the Barça Residency Academy in Arizona, which also supports its players’ academic needs. Additionally, the club operates 24 other Barça Academy sites around the world.
Beyond these academies, FC Barcelona hosts over 80 Barça Academy Clinics annually and runs more than 200 camps in over 46 countries. These programs offer participants the chance to experience the Barça training methodology and immerse themselves in the club’s values and philosophy.
