Morocco’s Mohammed V International Airport and Marrakech Menara Airport rank among the top ten airports in Africa for 2024, according to the 2024 Skytrax rankings.
Mohammed V International Airport is considered a key hub known for its extensive international connections, particularly to Europe and the Middle East. It boasts modern amenities, including diverse shopping and dining options.
Marrakech Menara Airport secured the spot in the rankings for its unique architectural style and inviting atmosphere. It is known for its efficiency and a wide array of facilities that enhance the travel experience.
South Africa’s Cape Town, King Shaka, and O.R. Tambo international airports claimed the top three spots in the rankings.
Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport in Mauritius, Addis Ababa Bole International Airport in Ethiopia, and Rwanda’s Kigali International Airport are also among the best airports in Africa.
Earlier, the 2024 Skytrax ranking has named Morocco’s national carrier, Royal Air Maroc (RAM) the second-best airline in Africa, making it the tenth consecutive year in this position.
RAM slipped two spots, however, to 55th place among the world’s top 100 airlines for 2024.
Skytrax, an international and independent air transport rating organization based in London, United Kingdom, awards airlines based on feedback from millions of passengers worldwide.
