The Royal Moroccan Boxing Federation (FRMB) announced the dissolution of its technical directorate in an official statement released on Saturday.
The decision follows less-than-satisfactory results at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
The directorate, previously headed by Othman Fadli, was dissolved to address the challenges Moroccan boxers encountered during the Olympics, according to the statement.
The FRMB also announced the provisional establishment of national committees to oversee the training and preparation of athletes across all categories.
The Federation also launched an international call for tenders to recruit a new National Technical Director.
Three women athletes, Khadija El Mardi, Yassmine Mouttaki, and Widad Bertal, represented Morocco in the boxing competitions.
