The organizers of the Oasis Festival, a leading music event that originated in Morocco’s Marrakech, have announced that this year’s edition, scheduled for September 6 to 8, 2024, will be the final one before the festival undergoes a hiatus in 2025.
During the hiatus, the organizers will implement comprehensive reforms and explore new directions for the festival’s future editions.
Following a two-year tour entitled “Oasis Into The Wild,” the festival is returning to the Red City this year. The event organizers have unveiled a second roster of musical artists who will be on the scene including Joy Orbison, Sama Abdulhadi, Driss Bennis, GЯEG, and Toccororo.
“When we created Oasis in 2015, our mission was to craft a unique experience in Marrakech that would foster connection and broaden horizons,” the festival’s founder and director Marjana Jaidi stated. “We are proud of our role in the growth of the festival scene in Morocco.”
She added that the 2025 break will provide an opportunity to revitalize the Moroccan cultural landscape with a new vision for future editions.
The Oasis Festival is preparing for a significant change after its eighth edition, promising an exciting transformation for future events.
