Net foreign direct investment (FDI) into Morocco was more than 10.62 billion MAD during the first half of 2024, an increase of 51.6% year on year, according to Morocco’s Exchange Office.
In its latest report on monthly foreign exchange indicators, the office noted that the revenues generated by this FDI grew by 8.6% to over 18.58 billion MAD, while expenses decreased by 21.2% to 7.96 billion MAD.
Morocco’s direct investments abroad also increased during the first half of 2024 by about 161 million MAD. Revenues from these investments rose by 12.9% to 8.75 billion MAD, while expenses declined by 35.6% to 8.91 billion MAD.
