Moroccan Mathis Soudi advanced on Tuesday, to the semi-finals of the men’s K-1 canoe slalom event at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Soudi completed the two qualifying rounds in 89.45 seconds, placing 16th overall.
He is scheduled to take part in the semi-finals on Thursday along with 20 other competitors.
In the shooting competition, Driss Haffari narrowly missed advancing to the final round, placing 10th out of 30 shooters in the qualifying phase. Despite his performance, he did not qualify with the top six shooters.
