King Mohammed VI is set to deliver a speech to the nation today. The King’s speech will be broadcast live on both radio and television at 9:00 p.m. local time.
The royal address will reflect on the milestone of 25 years since King Mohammed VI’s accession to the throne, according to a statement from the Ministry of the Royal Household, Protocol, and Chancellery.
Following the speech, King Mohammed VI will preside over a reception on Tuesday afternoon in the city of M’diq.
On Wednesday, the King will continue the celebrations with a formal ceremony at the Royal Palace in Tetouan.
The ceremony will feature the oath-taking of new officers from various military, paramilitary, and civilian institutions.
King Mohammed VI, who also serves as the Supreme Commander and Chief of Staff of the Royal Armed Forces, will oversee this traditional event.
The Royal Armed Forces’ General Staff will host a lunch for the officers’ mess as part of the day’s proceedings.
Later on Wednesday, King Mohammed VI will lead an allegiance ceremony, also held at the Royal Palace in Tétouan, marking a significant moment in Morocco’s national celebrations.
