Sweltering heat is expected in a number of regions in Morocco from Tuesday through Friday, with temperatures soaring as high as 47°C in some provinces, according to an orange alert weather bulletin issued by Morocco’s Meteorological Agency (DGM).
Temperatures between 42 and 46°C are anticipated in the provinces of Beni Mellal, Fquih Ben Saleh, Guercif, Taounate, Taza, Settat, and Khouribga during this period.
Marrakech, Rehamna, Kelaat Sraghna, Aousserd, Oued Ed-Dahab, Boujdour, Assa-Zag, Es-Semara, Tata, and Taroudant are expected to experience the highest temperatures ranging from 43 to 47 °C.
