The Royal Armed Forces (FAR) will perform air shows and exhibition parachute drops on July 30-31, to commemorate the 25th Throne Day anniversary.
The air shows will take place along the coast of M’diq on July 30, 2024, and the coast of Martil on July 31, 2024, beginning at 6 p.m. and hosted by the Royal Air Forces’ famed “Marche Verte” (Green March) aerobatic team.
At the Bouregreg Marina in Salé, exhibition jumps will be performed on July 30, 2024 by the parachutists of the national team in two shows featuring artistic tableaux and acrobatic movements.
The first show from 10 am and the second from 4 pm. These exhibition jumps will focus on precision landing, contact canopy routines and other free-fall formations.
On Friday and Saturday evenings, Rabat hosted the the 1st International Military Music Festival on the same occasion with tremendous fanfare.
The festival featured performances by seven national military bands from various Royal Armed Forces components, including the Royal Guard, Royal Gendarmerie, General Directorate of National Police (DGSN), and Auxiliary Forces.
The event also featured military bands from six other countries: Saudi Arabia, Ivory Coast, the United Arab Emirates, Spain, the United States of America, and Senegal.
