Morocco has established itself as a “key player” on the African stage and a “strategic partner” for Southern countries thanks to the great leadership of King Mohammed VI, the Vice-President of the Republic of El Salvador, Félix Ulloa stated told MAP few days ahead of the Throne Day.
Morocco’s all-encompassing development strategy has made the Kingdom “one of the most advanced countries” in its region, thanks to reforms carried out particularly in the political, economic, and social spheres, he stated.
The Salvadorian official assured that his country is committed to strengthening its political, diplomatic, and economic relations with Morocco.
He reiterated El Salvador’s “continuous and firm support” for the Kingdom’s territorial integrity and “full sovereignty over the Sahara.”
Ulloa stated that the establishment of El Salvador’s diplomatic mission in Rabat in 2022, the first in Africa, was a significant diplomatic event, highlighting the importance of the cooperation agreement inked between the two nations to expand their “dynamic and promising” partnership.
He also complimented Morocco’s efforts to help Southern countries develop, particularly the King’s Atlantic Initiative, which lays the way for the consolidation of regional economic integration and the creation of an environment suitable to growth and sustainable development.
