Morocco is a “leading country” in promoting South-South cooperation on the African continent, under the leadership of King Mohammed VI, Gambian Foreign Minister Mamadou Tangara told MAP a few days before King’s 25th Throne Day anniversary.
Tangara emphasized the Sovereign’s steadfast commitment to fostering constructive connections among the continent’s countries.
Morocco, under the King’s wise leadership, places a high value on strengthening African countries’ capacities and boosting human capital, which is critical to assuring Africa’s progress, he stated.
The head of Gambian diplomacy stated that His Majesty the King’s Atlantic Initiative exemplifies the aim to create “an African space of development, solidarity, and stability.”
“The Gambia welcomes the Royal Initiative, which strives to foster development, solidarity, and stability. “Africa urgently needs such a space,” he stated.
Tangara stated that Gambia “enthusiastically supports” the Royal Initiative to address African development concerns.
