Morocco’s Minister of Industry and Trade Ryad Mezzour and Ivorian Minister of Foreign Affairs Kacou Houadja Léon Adom convened in Rabat to explore opportunities for strengthening economic and trade collaboration between their countries.
Mezzour highlighted the necessity of increasing trade and investment volumes, citing the valuable raw materials that Ivory Coast has to offer Morocco, vital for integrating and optimizing the kingdom’s production chain.
He added that products manufactured in Cote d’Ivoire will be exported via the Moroccan industrial platform, while also encouraging Moroccan investors to leverage these resources to strengthen the country’s industrial sovereignty.
Adom also said the meeting will contribute to yielding a constructive and balanced enhancement of economic relations between the two nations.
He commended Morocco’s technological progress and investment potential, emphasizing that such collaboration would reinforce the enduring and friendly relations between the two territories.
