In Figuig, eastern Moroccan two projects are underway to connect several villages to the national electricity grid, with an estimated cost of approximately 64.17 million MAD, funded by the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH).
The projects will strengthen basic infrastructure, improve living conditions for rural residents, and mitigate rural exodus.
The province’s social action division said that the completion rate of the first project has reached 70%, while the second project stands at 30%.
Both projects are financed under the first program of the INDH, focusing on reducing the infrastructure and basic services deficit in the least equipped areas.
