In celebration of the 25th Throne Day, the Royal Armed Forces (FAR) will host the First International Festival of Military Music on July 26-30 in the main squares of Rabat, Salé, Tétouan, M’diq, and Témara.
The event will feature performances by seven national bands representing various force components, including the FAR, the Royal Guard, the Royal Gendarmerie, the national police (DGSN), and the Auxiliary Forces, in addition to six foreign military bands from Saudi Arabia, Côte d’Ivoire, the United Arab Emirates, Spain, USA, and Senegal, according to a press release from the FAR.
The opening ceremony will take place in Rabat on July 26, at Rabat’s Al Barid Square, and will be followed on July 27, by simultaneous shows at Rabat’s Mahaj Riad, Salé’s Bab El Mrissa, and Temara’s Harhoura Beach.
On the penultimate day of the festival, July 29, musical performances will be held on the M’diq coast. The festival will conclude on July 30 with a closing concert at El Mechouar Square in Tétouan.
