President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on Monday approved a decree formalizing a reciprocal agreement between the government of Azerbaijan and the Kingdom of Morocco providing for visa-free travel for holders of regular passports of either country.
The approval follows the signing of an agreement by Morocco’s Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita and his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhoun Bairamov, in May in Banjul, Gambia.
The agreement is designed to reinforce friendly relations and promote collaboration with respect to tourism between Morocco and Azerbaijan, thereby facilitating travel for both Moroccans and Azeris.
