Spanish football club Levante UD announced on Friday the signing of Moroccan international player Anissa Lahmari on a two-season contract.
“The midfielder joins from Levante Las Planas, where she made 27 appearances and scored seven goals,” the club’s statement read.
The Atlas Lioness was born in Saint-Cloud, France in 1997 and was part of Morocco’s women’s team that competed in the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
During the event’s group phase, she scored her first goal against Colombia and was named player of the match.
