The Spanish football club Valencia announced the signing of a new contract with Moroccan international Yasmin Mrabet, which will remain in effect until June 30, 2026.
The midfielder, born in Madrid on August 8, 1999, joins the black and white club from FC Levante Las Planas, with whom she has played for the last three seasons, making over 70 appearances.
In the previous season, she participated in 27 games, scoring two goals and providing many assists.
Mrabet began her career in football with Madrid CFF (2011-2020), subsequently joining Rayo Vallecano (2020-2021), before being contracted to FC Levante Las Planas (2021-2024).
The athlete made her debut with the Moroccan national team in 2022, after previously representing Spain at the 2018 Women’s U19 European Championship.
“At the age of seven, while residing in Madrid, I wore the Valencia CF shirt for the first time. At that time, a team from the San Blas neighborhood in Madrid had an agreement with the Club,” Mrabet stated.
Expressing her enthusiasm at the signing, she said: “I could not have imagined that 18 years later I would have the opportunity to play for the team that I have followed ever since.”
She epxressed her honor to assist in elevating Valencia to its “deserving position, upholding its values, and achieving its objectives.”
