Morocco’s national beach soccer team won against Côte d’Ivoire with a score of 6-1 in a friendly match held Wednesday at the Mohammed VI Football Complex in Salé.
Zouhair Jabbary, Driss Ghannam, Ibrahim Abagli, Anouar El Abassi, Reda Zahraoui and Adnan Oubahri scored for Atlas Lions.
The two teams are set to face each other again in a second friendly match scheduled for Thursday at the same stadium.
Morocco clinched its ticket for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON-2024) scheduled for this summer in Egypt, after the withdrawal of Angola, its opponent in the qualifiers.
