A heatwave is expected from Tuesday to Friday across several provinces of Morocco with temperatures ranging from 39 to 47°C, according to an amber weather alert issued by Morocco’s Meteorological Agency (DGM).
Temperatures between 41 and 45°C are forecast on Tuesday in the provinces of Figuig, Jerada, Zagora, Tinghir, Errachidia, and Tata.
The hot weather with temperatures between 39-42°C is also expected from Wednesday to Thursday in the provinces of Ouezzane, Guercif, Taourirt, Oujda-Angad, Jerada, Figuig, Boulemane, Sefrou, Moulay Yacoub, Taounate, Taza, Fes, Khouribga, Settat, Chichaoua, Youssoufia, and Ouarzazate.
