Six people were killed and many others sustained injuries in a collision between a taxi and a truck on the road connecting Salé to Al-Arjat, on Thursday morning, according to local media reports.
Eyewitnesses reported that the six people who had been traveling in the taxi died instantly.
Local authorities and emergency services responded promptly to the scene. The injured were rushed to the hospital to receive urgent medical care, and the dead were transported to the mortuary.
The relevant authorities have initiated an investigation into the causes of the accident.
