The second edition of the Morocco International Golf Series commenced on Thursday at the Dar Es Salam Royal Golf Club in Rabat, with the participation of leading national and international players in the discipline.
The event, the eighth stage of the Asian Tour, features several of the sport’s top athletes, including defending champion Jazz Janewattananond from Thailand and his compatriot Kiradech Aphibarnrat, Gaganjeet Bhullar from India and Scott Hend from Scotland.
In the Professional category, Morocco is represented by Ayoub Lguirati, Othman Raouzi and Ayoub Id-Omar.
Hugo Mazan Trommetter, Soufiane Dahmane, Aissa El Khadri and Adam Bresnu will play under the Moroccan flag in the Amateur category.
The second International Series Morocco is the second Asian Tour golf event hosted in North Africa to strengthen and develop golf in Asia and the Middle East.
The competition will award the winning player the title and a prize fund of 2 million dollars.
