Hicham Zouanat, President of the Moroccan Employers’ Association (CGEM), has been unanimously re-elected as a full member of the Governing Body of the International Labor Organization (ILO) in Geneva, on June 13, CGEM reported in a press release today.
“During his first term in office, Hicham Zouanat made valuable contributions to various social and economic issues, including social dialogue, platform economies, and the informal economy enabling ILO members to renew their trust in him,” the press release states.
Zouanat was the first Moroccan to be appointed to the Board of Directors in 2023. He is also Vice-Chairman for Africa of the International Organization of Employers (IOE).
