Sevilla FC is allegedly preparing to offer Moroccan striker Youssef En-Nesyri to a Saudi club during the upcoming summer transfer window to address financial issues, according to sports media reports.
The Spanish club is asking for a transfer fee of over €20 million for the forward, which aligns with his current market value.
En-Nesyri is currently under contract with Sevilla until 2025. Several top Saudi Pro League teams, including Al-Hilal, Al-Nassr, Al-Ittihad, and Al-Ahli, have shown interest in signing the 26-year-old forward.
These clubs will have the opportunity to acquire the Atlas Lion star when the Saudi transfer window opens on July 1.
Sevilla is seeking to rebound from a subpar season. The team finished 14th in La Liga with a mere 41 points.
Despite En-Nesyri’s impressive record of 20 goals and 3 assists in 41 appearances, Sevilla’s poor form left them in an unsatisfactory position, on the brink of relegation.
His performances were instrumental in securing 11 crucial points for the team, according to media reports.
Reports suggest that the Moroccan player may transfer to clubs in the Premier League, Serie A, and the Turkish Süper Lig, in addition to the Saudi clubs.
