Archbishop Atallah Hanna, Head of the Sebastia Diocese of the Greek Orthodox Church in Al-Quds, has commended the humanitarian medical aid operation conducted by Morocco for the Palestinian population in war-torn Gaza.
“This humanitarian operation illustrates the high human values of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee”, Archbishop Atallah Hanna underlined, expressing his thanks and gratitude to His Majesty the King for this new humanitarian initiative.
“I would like to highly commend and thank His Majesty the King for His Humanitarian Initiative and for all the help He has provided to the Palestinian people, in general, and to our population in Gaza, in particular, who are suffering from the war and its consequences,” the Archbishop said.
He also underlined the importance of this humanitarian operation in alleviating the suffering of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, particularly in terms of medical products.
King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, has given his Instructions to dispatch 40 tons of medical products to the populations in Gaza via the same land route used for the food aid operation deployed last Ramadan.
