Real Madrid will not release Moroccan international football player Brahim Diaz to play for Morocco in the upcoming Paris Olympics because the Club needs him “well rested” and prepared for the rigorous upcoming season, according to news reports.
The club also refused to release its new recruit French international player, Kylian Mbappe, who will not be allowed to play for France in the Olympics.
Real Madrid officials reportedly discussed their decision directly with Diaz, who is expected to be a key player in the upcoming season
Diaz will travel with Real Madrid to the United States to play in the team’s preseason run up, with matches lined up against AC Milan on July 31, Barcelona on August 3, and Chelsea on August 6.
