Famous French singer Maitre Gims has launched a 100 Mln euro luxury real estate project in Marrakech, where he has lived for 10 years. His new venture: “Sunset Village Private Residence” marks the start of his business career, reported Forbes France.
More than a hundred high-end villas are scheduled for delivery from 2026 onwards in Morocco’s Red City, a popular destination for tourism and real estate.
A total of 118 luxury villas with 470 square meters of living area will be built on a 13-hectare site on both sides of the Amizmiz road. Each villa will have a plot of between 400 and 1,200 square meters and a value of between 5 and 10 Mln MAD (€500,000 to €1 Mln).
The city is renowned for its rich culture, golf courses, breathtaking scenery, delicious cuisine, lively nightlife and warm year-round climate. With the FIFA World Cup scheduled to take place in Morocco in 2030 and the forthcoming arrival of a high-speed train line linking Marrakech to Casablanca, the city is clearly on an upward trajectory.
Gims’ substantial investment illustrates his desire to be part of Marrakech’s tourist honeypot and to contribute to the city’s expansion and influence with new real estate. The French entertainer said that he is in love with Marrakech and all that comes with it, the place, the people and the atmosphere, as he has also shot many music videos there.
The mission has been entrusted to Horizon Development, a company renowned for its excellence in the real estate sector, particularly for its prestige projects and the impeccable quality of its finishes. Construction is due to start on June 9.
Sunset Village Private Residences, located near the Agafay desert and only 10 minutes from downtown Marrakech, will provide a living environment that combines desert and coastline, including a private lagoon beach.
The project celebrates nature, with beautiful views of the Atlas Mountains, spectacular sunsets, and lush tropical flora.
