Morocco is participating in the High-Level International Conference on the Urgent Humanitarian Response for Gaza that is being held in the Dead Sea region, 40 km south of Amman, Jordan, to identify ways to strengthen international efforts to address the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
Jordan, Egypt and the United Nations co-organized the conference as a “Call for Action.”
UN Secretary-General António Guterres, key organizations, and leaders from over 75 countries are attending, as well as representatives of humanitarian organizations and international financial institutions worldwide.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Monday that the Palestinian death toll of the Israel-Hamas war since October 7 has risen to 37,124, with 83,712 injured.
The Ministry added that “the Israeli occupation committed 5 massacres against families in Gaza, resulting in 40 martyrs and 218 injuries being taken to hospitals on Sunday.”
The ministry noted that “some of the victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, with emergency and civil defense crews unable to reach them”.
