The Atlas Lions will play Congo Brazzaville on Tuesday at the Grand Stadium in Agadir, as part of the fourth round of African qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
Morocco’s head coach Walid Regragui on Monday said that there will be some changes in the lineup, as several players are injured.
Last Friday, Morocco beat Zambia 2-1 in the third day of Group E of the African World Cup qualifiers.
Hakim Ziyech opened the scoring for the Atlas Lions, and the 19-year-old midfielder Eliesse Ben Seghir added the second goal in the 67th minute.
Zambian striker Edward Chilufya scored a goal in the 80th minute of the match.
Morocco tops Group E with six points, followed by Zambia, Niger and Tanzania, each with three points. Congo is at the bottom of the group with zero point.
