Moroccan international Noussair Mazraoui could leave Bayern Munich as the German Giant is preparing for a massive shakeup this summer after losing the Bundesliga title to Bayer Leverkusen, according to Sky Sport.
The right-back, who joined Bayern Munich in the summer of 2022 on a free transfer from Ajax, has found consistent playing time hard to come by at the Allianz Arena.
Over two seasons, the Moroccan defender has played just 55 matches, scored one goal and provided eight assists.
The Moroccan international, whose contract with Bayern Munich runs until mid-2026, faces stiff competition for the right-back position, with players like Sacha Boey and Konrad Laimer also vying for playing time.
Newly appointed head coach Vincent Kompany is reportedly looking to revamp the squad after a disappointing season in third place as coach Thomas Tuchel bowed out.
The potential departures include former Ajax teammate Matthijs de Ligt, as well as Kingsley Coman, Serge Gnabry, Leon Goretzka, and Joshua Kimmich. Collectively, these players represent an estimated transfer value of around €219.6 million.
Several European teams, notably iconic Italian club Juventus, have laid eyes on Mazraoui, ahead of the summer window.
