Lebanon’s Foreign Minister, Abdallah Bou Habib, on Sunday reiterated his country’s “long-standing” support for Morocco’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
In a statement issued on Sunday following a telephone call with Morocco’s Ambassador to Beirut discussing anti-Moroccan positions expressed in a conference held in Beirut, Bou Habib reaffirmed Lebanon’s “long-standing” support for the Kingdom’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, expressing his country’s rejection of any threat to Morocco’s security.
“Lebanon condemns any position and statement undermining the Kingdom of Morocco and threatening its stability and territorial integrity”, Lebanese FM underlined.
Lebanon’s top diplomat also hailed the deep-rooted and long-standing ties of brotherhood between Morocco and Lebanon. Lebanon “aspires to strengthen cooperation between the two brotherly countries in all fields”, he added.
