Monday marks the commencement of the 2023-2024 academic year’s National Baccalaureate exams, with over 493,000 candidates taking the tests, according to figures from the Ministry of Education.
A total of 373,087 school-enrolled candidates have registered to take the exam. Of these, 87% attend public schools, with more than half (54%) being girls.
The Ministry has announced the mobilization of various stakeholders and the implementation of comprehensive organizational and logistical measures to ensure the success of the exams. These measures include the establishment of 1,833 examination centers equipped with over 28,000 examination rooms across all academies throughout the kingdom and the deployment of 40,000 graders.
