Moroccan Reda Bennani on Tuesday advanced to the round of 16 of Roland-Garros Juniors after besting Italian Daniele Rapagnetta.
Bennani, seeded No. 14, won in two sets 7-6 (7-5), 6-4.
He had clinched his ticket for the second round after beating, on Monday, Frenchman Raphael Vaksmann in 6-3, 6-3.
For a spot in the quarter-finals, the Moroccan tennisman will face Frenchman Moise Kouame, who eliminated Romanian Luca Preda (N.4) in three sets 6-3, 0-6, 6-4.
