Morocco and Gabon signed a cooperation agreement in higher education on Monday in Libreville to strengthen collaboration between the two countries in higher education and innovation.
Signed by the Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation, Abdellatif Miraoui, and his Gabonese counterpart, Hervé Ndoume, the partnership seeks to provide students with broader training during the LMD (B.A, M.A, and PhD) system and to enhance human capital through student and teacher mobility between Gabonese and Moroccan universities.
“This agreement will strengthen Morocco-Gabon ties, particularly in the area of youth education, the mobility of researchers, technicians, and administrators from Moroccan universities,” Miraoui said.
Ndoume highlighted, “This cooperation will broaden exchanges between the two countries, both in terms of student and teacher mobility.”
He added, “The close and fraternal strategic ties between Morocco and Gabon represent a beautiful example of South-South cooperation, based on the values of solidarity, exchange, and sharing.”
