Maroc Telecom, a leading telecommunications group in Morocco, is participating in GITEX Africa 2024, the largest technology exhibition on the continent that is being held in Marrakech from May 29-31, to “demonstrate its dedication to digitalization and innovative services,” according to Maroc Telecom press release.
Following its successful participation at GITEX 2023, the pan-African operator that provides telecommunications services in 11 countries is offering innovative services to support businesses in digital transformation, by providing access to the latest technological solutions for connectivity and security.
Last year, Maroc Telecom pledged to showcase its 100% digital MT Cloud Marketplace for Enterprises, unveiled previously at GITEX 2023. This new digital platform allows customers to address their infrastructure, cybersecurity, and productivity needs with a comprehensive range of managed cloud solutions.
The corporation’s booth at the fair is offering a range of “analytics, campaign management, project management, and collaboration tools to enterprises, enhancing their operations and boosting success and efficiency,” according to the release.
Maroc Telecom’s subsidiary Moov Africa, which operates in eight African countries, will also present some of its cutting-edge solutions at the Marrakech event, including the Moov TV and video-on-demand platform. These innovations offer a high-quality TV experience with a video-on-demand (VoD) and Replay option. Another novel offering is the Moov Money account card, which enables users to withdraw cash from Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) and make secure online and electronic payment terminal purchases.
The second Gitex Africa, the largest tech and startup event in Africa commenced yesterday, in Marrakesh, featuring over 1,500 exhibitors from over 130 countries. The event serves as a global platform for technology, innovation, and networking. This year’s expo focuses on three main themes: “Building a Unified Digital Africa,” “Connectivity,” and “Digital Cities.” It is regarded as a key hub for the burgeoning African tech industry, driving forward advancements in artificial intelligence, healthcare, and cybersecurity.
