Morocco and France signed a partnership agreement to promote Cultural and Creative Industries (ICC), with a particular focus on gaming, on Friday in Rabat.
Abdelaziz El Bouzdaini, representing the Ministry of Youth, Culture, and Communication of Morocco, and Christophe Lecourtier, representing the French Embassy in the kingdom, signed the agreement during the inaugural Morocco Gaming Expo.
At the signing ceremony, Morocco’s Minister of Youth, Culture, and Communication, Mohammed Mehdi Bensaid, emphasized the significance of the partnership in fostering bilateral collaboration in the gaming sector.
He stated the need for training to strengthen Morocco’s gaming industry and support Moroccan startups and businesses in this sector, helping them expand, integrate into the global market, and attract international investors.
For Ambassador Lecourtier, the agreement presents a valuable opportunity for the two countries to collaborate on promoting innovation and creativity.
He commended Morocco’s dedication to the gaming industry and expressed enthusiasm for French firms already present at the fair, noting their readiness to meet and cooperate with Moroccan partners.
