Moroccan schoolgirl Nadine Amzian excelled at the final tests of the 33rd edition of the Grand Final of the International Dictation “la dictée”– in the French language-, held at Laval University in Montreal, Quebec Province.
Amzian, from Casablanca’s Addoha private school, secured the second position in the “French as a Second Language” category.
Nadine was the sole finalist at the national level representing the Kingdom of Morocco in this competitive educational event.
The final examination at which Amzian excelled–involving over 70 fifth-and sixth-graders from seven countries–was dictated by Quebec’s Minister of Education, Bernard Drainville.
The Paul Gérin-Lajoie Foundation sponsored the event under the theme “Building Future Opportunities.” It is an NGO, created in 1977 and dedicated to enhancing people’s living standards through the provision of quality education.
