On Tuesday, Minister of Culture Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid signed a partnership agreement with the Chairperson of the Board of Al Barid Bank, Al-Amine Nejjar, and Regional Director of Visa for North Africa and the Levant, Leila Serhan, to enhance financial inclusion in Morocco.
The agreement comprises one aspect of the Government Youth Program 2021-2026, which emphasizes outreach in its other components, including “Youth Passport,” “Metatawi3 Program,” and the “National Program for Cultural Tourism for Youth.” These all aim to facilitate youngsters’ integration into society and to nurture their talents, while at the same time embracing their culture.
The partnership enables users of the Youth Passport program to benefit from preferential services from Al Barid Bank and Visa. The Youth Passport is a free application designed exclusively for Moroccan youth and foreign residents ages 16-30.
The application offers discounts, freebies, and other rewards to empower youth to access various cultural, sports, transportation, accommodation, and other services nationwide.
