The Atlas Lionesses U17 team crashed Algeria’s squad 4-0 in the penultimate round of qualifying for the U17 Women’s World Cup (Africa Zone), played on Friday in Salem Mabrouki Stadium in Algiers. The score remained unchanged for both home and away legs.
Chaimae Boughazi opened the scoring early in the first half (6th min). In the second half, Lina Mokhtar Jamaï (double) and Dina Nassira Haizoun brought the final score to 0-4.
After the two legs, the final score was 8-0 for Coach Youness Rabie girls, who will face the Zambians in June, having also eliminated the Ugandans on Friday.
The African teams qualifying for the Women’s U-17 World Cup will be announced at the end of the fourth and final round next June.
The U17 Women’s World Cup 2024 is scheduled to take place from October 16 to November 3 in the Dominican Republic.
