Moroccan Employers’ Body (CGEM) has granted its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) label to Morocco’s national carrier, Royal Air Maroc (RAM), and has renewed it for Amendis and LabelVie in recognition of their commitment to CSR and by meeting the expectations of their internal and external stakeholders, CGEM said in a press release.
The CSR label is awarded following an evaluation of the companies’ practices in the nine different components which comprise the CGEM’s CSR charter, in line with universal CSR objectives.
The granting of the CGEM’s CSR label is part of an incremental and dynamic improvement procedure by which to bolster sustainable practices. It also seeks to encourage Moroccan companies to adopt a comprehensive approach by taking into account economic, environmental, and social imperatives in their multi-faceted managerial strategies.
These objectives align with human rights, labor practices, environmental concerns, anti-corruption efforts, fair competition, corporate governance, customer and consumer welfare, supplier and subcontractor matters, and community involvement, the press release added.
