Four companies were awarded prizes at the 7th Moroccan Logistics Awards (MLA), in a ceremony held by the Moroccan Agency for Logistics Development (AMDL), in partnership with the Moroccan Employers’ Association (CGEM) in Casablanca on Wednesday.
The Logistics Project of the Year Prize was presented to Building & Logistic Services (BLS) for the “Birth of an End-to-End Logistics Operator” project during the ceremony held in tandem with the 11th International Transport and Logistics Exhibition for Africa and the Mediterranean.
Logisolutions’ project entitled, “High Rise Warehouse” earned the Logistics Real Estate of the Year Award.
The Green Logistics Project of the Year was won by Agricold for its “Energy Transition in a Cold-Storage Warehouse.”
The startup VelyVelo was awarded the Startup of the Year Prize for its “Picaleev: Last-Mile Delivery Solution” project. In another award, startup LogisTiqa received the jury’s “Coup de Coeur” distinction.
“This year we have witnessed outstanding achievements in the field of logistics in Morocco. I would like to congratulate all the participants for their dedication and innovation,” General Director of AMDL Ghassane El Machrafi stated.
Hicham Mellakh, head of CGEM’s Logistics and Real Estate Commission, indicated that these awards reflect the excellence and innovation of Moroccan businesses operating in the field of logistics.
The jury panel was composed of representatives from public and private institutions, as well as leading figures from the logistics industry recognized for their expertise, prominence, and commitment to the development of the supply chain in Morocco.
Since 2016, MLA has celebrated Moroccan enterprises’ beneficial initiatives and solutions in the supply chain sector, recognizing their contributions to the development of efficiency, innovation, and sustainability in the Moroccan logistics industry.
