Canary Islands-based airline Binter announced on Monday the expansion of its connections with Morocco with a new route to the city of Ouarzazate (central Morocco), starting in July and continuing through August.
“The Canarian airline reinforces its commitment to Morocco, with the premiere of this destination located in the south of the Moroccan High Atlas, famous for being the gateway to the Sahara Desert,” Binter said in a press release.
The new route will connect the airports of Gran Canaria and Ouarzazate every Saturday.
This initiative is due to the “exceptional relationship that Binter maintains with the National Tourism Office (ONMT) and is part of the implementation of a collaboration agreement between both parties to reinforce their commitment to the recovery of tourism and connectivity with the Canary Islands.”
The company will reinforce its connections with the city of Tangier during July and August, as flights will be available on both Wednesdays and Saturdays.
The departures will be on Wednesdays at 10:10 A.M. from Gran Canaria with arrival in the Moroccan city at 1:25 P.M., and on Saturdays with a departure at 2:15 P.M. from the Gran Canaria airport, arriving at 5:30 P.M. in Ouarzazate.
Return flights will be on Wednesdays, leaving at 2:10 P.M. from Tangier, and arriving at 5:50 P.M., and on Saturdays at 6:15 P.M. with arrival at 9:55 P.M. at Gran Canaria Airport.
