The Confederation of African Tennis (CAT) has awarded Morocco the trophy for “best tennis nation in Africa” for 2024 for the sixth year running, according to a CAT news release sent by CAT’s head Jean Claude Talon to the President of the Moroccan Tennis Federation (FRMT), Fayçal Laraïchi, on Wednesday.
The award is based upon “results recorded at the African Youth Championships for 14, 16 and 18 yo and under 18, as well as the bonus points awarded following the CAJ 14U.”
Presentation of the Nations Trophy will take place at the close of the African Youth Championship, which will be held in Tunis from May 6 to 11.
