French Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin will pay a two-day visit to Morocco on April 21-22 upon an invitation from his Moroccan counterpart, Abdelouafi Laftit, French local media reported on Saturday.
This visit aims to deepen cooperation between the two countries in the field of security amid an unstable international context.
Morocco’s Interior Minister and Minister of Islamic Affairs Ahmed Taoufiq will receive Darmanin and will hold discussions with representatives of the Franco-Moroccan business community and the French community in Rabat.
Senior officials from the Ministry of the Interior and Overseas Territories will accompany Gérald Darmanin in this visit, according to the French Interior Ministry.
